TEA CEREMONY

TEA CEREMONY (SADO) is Japanese art which is the center of manner of powdered green tea, and it has a several name (Sado, Chado, chanoyu). Folkway of drinking tea is come down from China by Japanese envoi. In the North and South era, Sen no Rikyu familiarized Wabicya which is added “Wabi” that is esthetic idea. After that, Rikyu’s descendants divided into three parts. Which calls “Omote-senke”, “Ura-senke”, “Mushanokouji-senke”. Now, there are many kinds of the head of a school. Tea ceremony is popular as a traditional Japanese culture.


Now, tea ceremony has seven rituals which are called “Chajishichishiki”. This is the name of tea ceremony that hold each time in a day. “Chajishichishiki” has “asakai” “hirukai” “hujinokai” “yobanashinokai” “atominokai” “hangonokai” “akatsukinokai”. These names could distinguish from time which tea ceremony is held. “akatukinokai” is held in the early morning in winter, and “asakai” is held in the morning in summer, and “yobanashinokai” is held after sunset in winter. “hujinokai” is held when unexpected customer came. “hangokai” is serve only confectionery with powdered green tea. Like this, tea ceremony has many kinds of name, and tea reception for customer is a little different each time and season. “chajishitishiki” is recent name, so this is called by another name in the old days.
Tea ceremony has old history and customs and kinds. Therefore, tea ceremony is good culture of Japan. If you research detail about it , you could know about Japan.

☆Japanese World Heritage Site☆


There are many World Heritage Sites in Japan. I look up two temples in it. There are in Kyoto. In Kyoto, there are many famous World Heritage Sites except that two places.

★Kiyomizudera★
Kiyomizudera’s main temple is World Heritage Site. In 1633, Tokugawa Iemitsu made contributions to the temple and it was built by that. It also is called “Kiyomizu no butai”. Butai is built without nails. That structure is called “Kakezukuri”or “Butaizukuri”. This is held by the pillar of zelkova.

★Kinkakuji★
This temple’s formal name is Rokuonnji and this was built by Ashikaga Yoshimitsu. Kinkakuji is famous for Shariden. This was burned in 1950, but it was restored in 1955. This is a three- story building and two floor and three floor are covered gold leaves. Therefore Shariden is so beautiful and very famous place.There is Gingasen behind Kinkaku. That is conveyed that Yoshimitsu used this water to make the tea. And now, clear water spring from there.

☆★Oktoberfest ★☆


This festival's name is "Oktoberfest". This festival is held in Myunhen in German, and this is the largest festival in the world.

Every year, more than six million people visit this festival. This festival started in 1810, and have been held for 198 years. It is the last day at first Sunday in October, and this has held for sixteen days. It opens at 10 a.m in weekday, and 9 a.m in
holiday. Festival’s place is Theresienwiese (this word's mean is "wooded area in Theresien) which has 42 hectare (It corresponds about nine of Tokyo Dome.)


There are attractions such as spectator and haunted house. But this festival’s center is beer and food!! Brewing association of Myunhen brew so many beer which is high alcohol for this festival. There stack up many people in front of the toilet every year. So they built more it 20percent in 2005.

History☆
I will tell you about history of Oktoberfest. Oktoberfest is not rare festival in Bayern before. Because, this is the festival celebrates the dawn of the brewing season of beer. So this is the thing anywhere take place. Oktoberfest of Munchen which is famous festival today is newer than another festival such as ethnic festival in German. October in 1810, it is held Otto Ludwig and Thresien’s wedding at wooded area in front of urban wall. And they took place the big horse racing. From then on this wooded area is called Thredienwiese. Court of Bayern announced horse racing held round in same season for pleasing citizen. And it is beginning of Oktoberfest.

Movie☆

I saw "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea" this summer vacation. So I introduce about this movie. This movie is written by Hayao Miyazaki who is belonged to Studio Ghibli. He wrote some of popular movie such as "My Neighbor Totoro" , "Pricess Mononoke" and "Howl's Moving Castle".


This theme song is written by Joe Hisaisi, and is sung by FjiokaFjimaki with Nozomi Oohashi. Joe Hisaisi wrote and composed many famous movie music such as "HANA-BI" and "Summer of Kikujiro". In2000, He got the best music prize of Japan Academy Award three times in a row. Oohashi Nozomi is eight years old. Therefore their song is so cute.


This is the story that Ponyo that is child of fish persists in living with Sousuke who is human child , and While Sousuke who is five years old sticks to their promise. This movie is represented childrens' love and adventure.

Exercise & Diet

★Hula☆

Recently, hula is noticed as exercise. We keep bending knee and step. Besides, to swing our hips develop our muscles. To raise our arm is good for the upper arm. Hula’s move is slow, so we sweat gradually. It is nice exercise for the people who don’t have confident of strength. It has a relaxation effect. So, if we do hula, we can improve our condition. Therefore, Recently Hula is popular with old people. People of all ages can enjoy Hula.

Rice contains a lot of carbohydrate which produce much energy. Carbohydrate is necessary foodstuff for people, and it is called “Sandaieiyouso”. If we take in at least more 55%of the total energy, it is possible to reduce possibility of accumulation of body fat. So eating carbohydrate hard help to maintain your moderate weight, and it is effective in prevention of fatness.
